Are all the people in a group picture drawn?

Yes. The AI automatically recognises who's in the picture and includes everyone in the drawing – pets too. Whether it's a couple, a group of friends or a guest with their dog: the drawing adapts to the subject. With several people it takes a little longer, because there are more lines to draw.

Are the AI products GDPR-compliant?

We've put the groundwork in place and are open about how the processing works: – Contractually covered: we have a data processing agreement (DPA) with our software supplier. Its servers are located in the USA; standard contractual clauses are used for transfers outside the EEA. – No AI training: the photos are not used to train the artificial intelligence. – Deletion: after one month by default – earlier on request, for example directly after your event. – Consent: on request we display a notice before the session which guests actively agree to. – No facial recognition for identification: the AI generates images, it doesn't match people against anything. Worth knowing: at corporate events you as the organiser are responsible under data protection law and we work on your behalf. Let us know early if special requirements apply to your event – we're happy to work out the details with you. All our AI products use the same software and therefore the same process.

Are there travel costs outside Vienna?

In Vienna, delivery, setup and takedown are included in the price. Outside Vienna there are travel costs – they depend on the distance and are stated transparently in the quote. We work throughout Austria.

Can guests give their consent before the photo is taken?

Yes. Before the session starts, a notice can be displayed which guests actively agree to before they're photographed. We agree the wording with you – at corporate events this is often requested. Let us know with your enquiry and we'll set it up.

Can several people be drawn at the same time?

Each drawing processes one person or one group. Multi-person drawings are possible but need more drawing time and are arranged in advance.

Can the AI Sketcher be branded?

Yes. The AI Sketcher offers extensive branding options, including: – logos or text on the drawing – branded paper formats – custom AI styles matching your brand – branded user interfaces This makes the system ideal for corporate and promotional events.

Can the AI Sketcher be combined with other event systems?

Yes, very well in fact. The AI Sketcher combines with all our other products: – Photo booths – Magic Mirrors – 360° Headspinner and Ground Spinner – Robot Photobooth – Photo Mosaic Wall A popular combination is a fast device for many guests paired with the AI Sketcher as a show element: while some are taking photos, others watch the robotic arm draw.

Can the drawing speed be adjusted?

Yes, and at large events it's the decisive lever. The drawing speed can be set in several stages – from maximum detail with fine, calm lines to maximum throughput with brisk strokes. On average a drawing takes around two minutes. For a reception with 60 guests we choose the detailed setting; for a busy trade fair, the fast one. Tell us how many guests you expect – we'll match it to that.

Does it cost more if the booth runs longer?

No. We charge per event day, not per hour. Whether the booth runs for two hours or well into the night makes no difference to the quote – up to twelve hours on the event day are possible. If your event continues the following day, a second event day is added. The only thing booked by the hour is an attendant on site. On the units that always run attended – 360° Headspinner, 360° Ground Spinner, photo booth robot, AI Sketcher and Photo Mosaic Wall – the standard package includes a fixed number of attended hours, and you can book additional hours on top.

Does the AI Sketcher need an internet connection?

The AI Sketcher can only be operated online, since the AI caricature generation happens online.

Do guests get their drawing only physically or also digitally?

Both are possible. Guests receive: – the physical drawing directly on site – optionally a digital version via QR code, download link or online gallery Digital delivery is especially good for social sharing or as a lasting keepsake.

How does the AI Sketcher work?

It works in four steps: A photo of the guest is taken. The AI analyses face, contours and posture. A digital drawing template is created from it. One of the five robot arms draws it live on paper. The result is an individual piece of art that guests take home straight away.

How long are the photos stored?

You decide how long the pictures stay available. The standard storage period is one month – long enough for guests to download their pictures at their leisure. After that they're deleted. If you want it shorter, we'll set that up: directly after the event or at another agreed time. Just let us know with your enquiry.

How long does a drawing take per guest?

On average, it takes about two minutes from photo to finished drawing. The AI creates the template first, then the robotic arm draws it stroke by stroke. The exact time depends on the chosen drawing style, level of detail and number of people in the shot. Because five robotic arms work in parallel, there's still no queue: while one is drawing, the next guests are already up.

How long does setup of the AI Sketcher take?

Allow around one hour from our arrival. The robot arms themselves come in compact protective cases and are up quickly; what takes time is positioning, calibrating the arms and setting up the photo station. We arrive well before the start. Packing up after the event is considerably faster.

How many drawings are included in the package?

The standard package includes 500 drawings – enough for the vast majority of events. For very large events, additional material can be added. Tell us with your enquiry how many guests you're expecting and we'll plan it to fit.

How much space does the AI Sketcher need?

The space required is roughly 2.5 × 2.5 metres, depending on the setup. Extra room is recommended so guests can watch the drawing process.

How scalable is the AI Sketcher for large events?

For large events, the AI Sketcher can: – be optimised with several drawing modes – work faster through targeted style choices – be integrated into a larger event setup This keeps throughput efficient even with many guests.

Is a deposit required?

No. You pay nothing in advance. We work on the principle of business before pleasure: the invoice comes only after the event, once everything has gone smoothly.

Is an attendant included with the AI Sketcher?

With the AI Sketcher, supervision is always included – it isn't optional here. A promoter is on site throughout the entire event: they explain the process, support guests and make sure the drawing process runs smoothly.

Is the AI Sketcher suitable for continuous operation?

Yes. The system is designed for multi-hour events and heavy use. Hardware, software and mechanics are built for stability and reliability.

Is the drawing process visible live?

Yes. The drawing process is fully live and visible to guests. This is exactly what makes the AI Sketcher a show element that draws attention and attracts visitors. Optionally, the process can also be streamed to a screen.

What format does the AI Sketcher draw in?

The standard format is 10 × 15 cm. There is also a second, smaller format that is drawn more quickly – we agree which one we use with you beforehand. We draw on heavy 300 gsm paper, so the drawing feels substantial and survives a long night in a jacket pocket.

What happens if my event is cancelled or postponed?

We handle that flexibly and charge no cancellation fees. The only exception are products for which individually made parts have already been produced – the Photo Mosaic Wall or the AI Sketcher, for instance. In that case only the cost of the printing materials is charged. Just get in touch as soon as you know. If a replacement date is already fixed, we are happy to hold it for you.

Renting an AI Sketcher in Vienna – what you get

The AI Sketcher is a drawing robot. A guest takes a photo on the touchscreen, the AI turns it into a sketch – and a real robot arm then puts it on paper stroke by stroke. Around two minutes per portrait, live in front of your guests.

The standard package runs five robot arms in parallel. Guests end up holding their drawing and also get a digital version on their phone. An attendant is always included – the AI Sketcher does not run unsupervised.

We deliver, set up and collect it after the event. In Vienna that is included; outside Vienna a travel fee is stated transparently in the quote.

Within our Premium Line the AI Sketcher is the format for trade fair stands and brand appearances where watching is the attraction. If you would rather turn many guest photos into one large picture, the Photo Mosaic Wall is the one.
