Are the AI products GDPR-compliant?

We've put the groundwork in place and are open about how the processing works: – Contractually covered: we have a data processing agreement (DPA) with our software supplier. Its servers are located in the USA; standard contractual clauses are used for transfers outside the EEA. – No AI training: the photos are not used to train the artificial intelligence. – Deletion: after one month by default – earlier on request, for example directly after your event. – Consent: on request we display a notice before the session which guests actively agree to. – No facial recognition for identification: the AI generates images, it doesn't match people against anything. Worth knowing: at corporate events you as the organiser are responsible under data protection law and we work on your behalf. Let us know early if special requirements apply to your event – we're happy to work out the details with you. All our AI products use the same software and therefore the same process.

Are there travel costs outside Vienna?

In Vienna, delivery, setup and takedown are included in the price. Outside Vienna there are travel costs – they depend on the distance and are stated transparently in the quote. We work throughout Austria.

Can guests give their consent before the photo is taken?

Yes. Before the session starts, a notice can be displayed which guests actively agree to before they're photographed. We agree the wording with you – at corporate events this is often requested. Let us know with your enquiry and we'll set it up.

Can the AI Photobooth be used for lead generation?

Yes. Before guests receive their picture, the AI Photobooth can ask for an email address or phone number – with a consent checkbox, so everything stays GDPR-compliant. You get the collected data after the event, together with the branded prints and the digital gallery. That turns the booth from pure entertainment into a lead source at trade fairs and brand activations.

Can you customise the AI Photobooth?

Yes! Our AI Photobooth can be customized — from personalized overlays and backgrounds to tailor-made effects and stickers developed specifically for your event.

Does it cost more if the booth runs longer?

No. We charge per event day, not per hour. Whether the booth runs for two hours or well into the night makes no difference to the quote – up to twelve hours on the event day are possible. If your event continues the following day, a second event day is added. The only thing booked by the hour is an attendant on site. On the units that always run attended – 360° Headspinner, 360° Ground Spinner, photo booth robot, AI Sketcher and Photo Mosaic Wall – the standard package includes a fixed number of attended hours, and you can book additional hours on top.

Does the AI Photobooth need an internet connection?

Yes, a connection is required here – without internet, the AI effects can't be generated. The images are processed in a cloud and come back as a finished result. We bring mobile internet. We can't guarantee in advance that reception at any given venue will be enough – it's often weak in cellars, halls and older buildings. A stable network on site is the safer option. Best to clarify this early with your venue. It determines how smoothly the AI features run.

How big and how heavy is the AI Photobooth?

The setup comes in two parts that stand side by side: the photo booth column with camera and touchscreen is 35 cm wide and 163 cm high, the printer stand holding the photo printer is 35 cm wide and 82 cm high. Together they weigh around 50 kg. Allow about 1.5 × 1.5 metres including room for guests to move, and a minimum ceiling height of 175 cm. We deliver both parts, set them up and take them away again after the event.

How does background removal work without a green screen?

No green screen needed. The AI recognises the person in the shot and separates them from the real background within seconds. The background you picked is then placed behind them – a venue shot, your brand world or an AI-generated scene. The result is printed and shared digitally just like any other photo.

How do you book the AI Photobooth?

Send us your event date, the venue and roughly how many guests you expect – by email or through the enquiry form. We check availability and send you an offer. Once you confirm, we agree the print layout and the AI effects with you. On the event day we deliver, set up, test everything and collect the booth afterwards.

How long are the photos stored?

You decide how long the pictures stay available. The standard storage period is one month – long enough for guests to download their pictures at their leisure. After that they're deleted. If you want it shorter, we'll set that up: directly after the event or at another agreed time. Just let us know with your enquiry.

How long can the AI Photobooth be used?

The booking covers one event day with up to twelve hours – for example from 6 pm to 4 am. Individual times or extensions are possible by arrangement. For multi-day events the photo booth stays set up.

How long does it take until the AI image is ready?

About 20 to 30 seconds per image – sometimes faster, sometimes a bit longer. How quickly it goes depends noticeably on the internet connection. While it processes, an animation runs on screen so guests can see something is happening.

How many prints come with the AI Photobooth?

The print package includes 400 prints in postcard format (10 × 15 cm). Photo strips in 5 × 15 cm are not available on the AI devices – an AI image needs the larger surface to work. If you want photo strips, the Photobooth Classic is the right device. An extra paper roll can be added. If the paper does run low towards the end, guests can keep taking photos and get their pictures digitally instead.

How much space does the AI Photobooth need?

1.5 × 1.5 metres is enough – the AI Photobooth is more compact than our classic photo booth. The setup comes in two parts that stand side by side: the photo booth column (35 cm wide, 163 cm high) and the printer stand (35 cm wide, 82 cm high). That means it also fits on trade fair stands and into rooms with little free floor space. Setup takes around 30 minutes, and a standard power socket nearby is all we need.

Is a deposit required?

No. You pay nothing in advance. We work on the principle of business before pleasure: the invoice comes only after the event, once everything has gone smoothly.

Is there a digital gallery for the photos?

Yes! All images can be digitally shared or saved in an online gallery immediately after they have been taken. Guests receive their photos via QR code, email or a direct download link.

Is there a print function?

Yes! AI Photobooth can instantly print high-quality photos — ideal for taking away memories. Alternatively, the images can be shared directly on social media.

What AI effects does the AI Photobooth offer?

The AI Photobooth combines a classic photo booth with AI image generation. AI FaceSwap places the guest's face into a prepared scene. AI StylePop turns the portrait into a collectible vinyl-style figure. AI Cartoon turns guests into comic characters. AI Oldify shows guests aged by decades. What happens if my event is cancelled or postponed?

We handle that flexibly and charge no cancellation fees. The only exception are products for which individually made parts have already been produced – the Photo Mosaic Wall or the AI Sketcher, for instance. In that case only the cost of the printing materials is charged. Just get in touch as soon as you know. If a replacement date is already fixed, we are happy to hold it for you.

What is an AI Photobooth?

An AI Photobooth is a photo booth that does more than take and print a picture – it also transforms the shot with artificial intelligence. Guests step in front of it, pick an effect on the touchscreen, and 20 to 30 seconds later the finished AI image is printed and available digitally via QR code, email or social sharing. Everything else works like a classic photo booth: props, frames and your own print layout.

What is the difference between the AI Photobooth and the Photobooth Classic?

They look similar and both print instantly. The difference is in the picture. The Photobooth Classic shoots classic photos with studio flash and delivers the shot exactly as it was taken – with frames, props and instant printing, without AI. Everything stays local on the device, so an internet connection is not strictly required. The AI Photobooth takes the same shot and transforms it with AI on top: face swap, cartoon, AI headshot or a completely replaced background. That takes 20 to 30 seconds per image and runs through the cloud, so a stable internet connection is needed. In short: Classic when it should be fast, robust and without any data leaving the device. AI Photobooth when guests should take home something that would not exist without AI.

Which AI device fits my event?

All four devices in our AI Line run the same AI effects. What differs is the form factor and the flow. The AI Photobooth is a compact column that needs only 1.5 x 1.5 m - first choice on trade fair stands and anywhere space is tight. The AI Magic Mirror is a large portrait-format mirror with full-body shots - first choice when the device itself should be an eye-catcher. The AI Guest Booth has no camera of its own: guests send photos from their own phones and get them back transformed - first choice with very large crowds or when the event spreads across several rooms. The AI Photobooth is our compact column with artificial intelligence. Guests step in front of it, pick an effect on the touchscreen and get their transformed picture after 20 to 30 seconds – printed, and digitally via QR code, email or social sharing.

The setup comes in two parts: the photo booth column with camera and touchscreen (35 cm wide, 163 cm high) and the printer stand next to it (35 cm wide, 82 cm high). Together they weigh around 50 kg and need about 1.5 × 1.5 metres of floor space plus a standard power socket. Setup takes around 30 minutes.

We deliver, set up and collect it after the event – included in Vienna, with a transparently stated travel fee outside. A booking covers one event day of up to twelve hours, and the print package holds 400 prints in 10 × 15 cm format. Photo strips are not available on the AI devices – an AI image needs the larger surface. An on-site attendant can be added optionally.

How it differs from the Photobooth Classic: the Classic shoots classic photos with studio flash and prints them instantly – without AI, but optionally as photo strips. The AI Photobooth turns that same shot into an AI image.

Within the AI Line it is the most space-saving option. If you want a large mirror with full-body shots instead, the AI Magic Mirror is the one.
