Are the AI products GDPR-compliant?

We've put the groundwork in place and are open about how the processing works: – Contractually covered: we have a data processing agreement (DPA) with our software supplier. Its servers are located in the USA; standard contractual clauses are used for transfers outside the EEA. – No AI training: the photos are not used to train the artificial intelligence. – Deletion: after one month by default – earlier on request, for example directly after your event. – Consent: on request we display a notice before the session which guests actively agree to. – No facial recognition for identification: the AI generates images, it doesn't match people against anything. Worth knowing: at corporate events you as the organiser are responsible under data protection law and we work on your behalf. Let us know early if special requirements apply to your event – we're happy to work out the details with you. All our AI products use the same software and therefore the same process.

Are there any size limits for the photo mosaic wall?

The Fiestapics photo mosaic wall offers various wall sizes to flexibly respond to the needs and space of your event. This option makes it possible to create an individually customizable mosaic, which is assembled from the photos of the event participants. Thanks to the different size options, the photo mosaic wall can be tailor-made for both smaller private parties and larger corporate events to create a unique and interactive experience.

Are there travel costs outside Vienna?

In Vienna, delivery, setup and takedown are included in the price. Outside Vienna there are travel costs – they depend on the distance and are stated transparently in the quote. We work throughout Austria.

Can guests give their consent before the photo is taken?

Yes. Before the session starts, a notice can be displayed which guests actively agree to before they're photographed. We agree the wording with you – at corporate events this is often requested. Let us know with your enquiry and we'll set it up.

Can the mosaic show our company logo?

Yes, and that's really the point at corporate events. You decide the target image: your logo, a campaign motif, a product shot, or a personal photo. The guest photos assemble into exactly that image. For the best result, we need your artwork in landscape format and at least 300 DPI resolution. The higher the resolution, the more precise the outcome.

Does it cost more if the booth runs longer?

No. We charge per event day, not per hour. Whether the booth runs for two hours or well into the night makes no difference to the quote – up to twelve hours on the event day are possible. If your event continues the following day, a second event day is added. The only thing booked by the hour is an attendant on site. On the units that always run attended – 360° Headspinner, 360° Ground Spinner, photo booth robot, AI Sketcher and Photo Mosaic Wall – the standard package includes a fixed number of attended hours, and you can book additional hours on top.

How does the photo mosaic wall work?

The Photo Mosaic Wall collects photos from several live sources at your event – a photo booth, a Magic Mirror or the AI Guest Booth, and on request images you supply yourself – and assembles them into one large overall picture. Depending on the version, that happens physically on a board, live on a screen or online under its own event URL. We deliver, set up and collect everything, and an attendant is on site throughout.

How do I book the service for the photo mosaic wall?

Follow these steps to easily book the photo mosaic wall: Start with an enquiry with Fiestapics to secure your preferred date. In the next step, we need your photo or graphic in landscape mode to prepare your personal mosaic. This simple process guarantees smooth organization and a unique experience for your event.

How early do I need to book the Photo Mosaic Wall?

Plan on around four weeks' lead time. Unlike our other products, each mosaic wall is individually produced for your event – based on your motif, in the size you choose. That takes preparation and materials. That's also why the Photo Mosaic Wall is the only product where cancellation involves a cost: the printing materials already produced. Get in touch early and we can almost always work something out.

How high does the resolution of my graphics have to be?

For best results when creating a photo mosaic, the resolution of your photo or artwork should be at least 300 DPI. A high resolution ensures that the small, individual mosaic parts are displayed precisely and clearly. The higher the resolution, the more detailed and impressive the end result of your photo mosaic wall will be.

How long are the photos stored?

You decide how long the pictures stay available. The standard storage period is one month – long enough for guests to download their pictures at their leisure. After that they're deleted. If you want it shorter, we'll set that up: directly after the event or at another agreed time. Just let us know with your enquiry.

How long do setup and takedown of the Photo Mosaic Wall take?

Allow one and a half to two hours from our arrival. For the physical mosaic the board is put up and aligned; for the digital mosaic we set up the computer and screen. In both cases the photo sources at the event still need to be connected. We arrive well before the start. Packing up after the event is quicker – and the finished mosaic stays with you.

How many photos does a mosaic need?

Fewer than you'd think – not every tile needs its own photo. The software analyses each image by colour and brightness and places it where it fits the overall picture. Popular shots end up appearing more than once. So even a large wall fills up with noticeably fewer photos than it has tiles. Rule of thumb: the more varied the photos, the richer the mosaic looks. That's why we recommend at least two photo sources for events lasting six hours or more – a photo booth and the AI Guest Booth running in parallel, for example. Tell us how many guests you're expecting – we'll recommend the right wall size.

For events of six hours or more we recommend at least two photo sources – a photo booth and a mirror photo booth, for example. Two sources bring in more material and more variety: different angles, different groups of guests, a fuller result.

How much space does the Photo Mosaic Wall need?

That depends on the version you choose and the size of the wall. Physical mosaic: the wall stands free in the room and is around 184 cm high. You decide the width – we build the board in the size that fits your room. Allow around one metre of space in front of it so guests can stick on their stickers comfortably. Digital mosaic: here a screen or projector and a spot for the technology are enough – considerably less space. Tell us with your enquiry how much space is available at your venue – we'll match the size to it.

Is a deposit required?

No. You pay nothing in advance. We work on the principle of business before pleasure: the invoice comes only after the event, once everything has gone smoothly.

Is an attendant included with the Photo Mosaic Wall?

With the Photo Mosaic Wall, supervision is always included – the standard package covers six hours. One of our staff is on site for the whole event: keeping an eye on progress, helping guests stick their photos on, and making sure the mosaic is complete by the end. Longer sessions can be added on.

What events is a photo mosaic wall suitable for?

We handle that flexibly and charge no cancellation fees. The only exception are products for which individually made parts have already been produced – the Photo Mosaic Wall or the AI Sketcher, for instance. In that case only the cost of the printing materials is charged. Just get in touch as soon as you know. If a replacement date is already fixed, we are happy to hold it for you.

What's the difference between physical, digital and online mosaics?

Three variants are available – and they can be combined too: - Physical: photos are printed as stickers, and your guests stick them onto the mosaic board themselves. What's left at the end is a keepsake to take home – the most popular choice for weddings. - Digital: the mosaic builds on a large screen in real time. No wall space needed, but with dynamic effects. - Online: the mosaic is available via a link from anywhere – even for guests who couldn't be there, and even after the event. Which variant fits depends on the room, the occasion, and whether you want something physical left behind.

The Photo Mosaic Wall assembles many individual guest photos into one large picture – your logo, a campaign motif or a personal wedding artwork. While the event runs, it fills up photo by photo.

Three versions are possible. Physical: the photos are printed as stickers and guests place them on the board themselves. Digital: the mosaic grows live on a screen or projector. The standard package runs six hours and an attendant is always included.
