Renting a photo booth for a wedding in Vienna – what you get
In 2025, 9,777 marriages were registered in Vienna, according to Statistics Austria – the only Austrian province with a clear increase. May was the strongest month nationwide, followed by August and September. Those are the months when Saturdays fill up, and when photo stations get scarce. We supply the station for your day: the Photobooth Classic with instant printing, the Magic Mirror X as a full-length mirror, the Magic Mirror Retro in vintage styling, or the Photo Mosaic Wall, whose guest photos grow into one large picture over the evening. Photo booth, selfie station or photo kiosk – whatever you call it, we bring it, set it up and take it away again.
A photo guest book instead of empty pages
At most weddings the classic guest book stays half empty, because nobody knows what to write. A photo station solves that by itself: every photo strip prints twice – one goes into the guest's pocket, the second gets glued into the book and signed. By the end of the night you have a full book of faces instead of three polite sentences. We supply the album, pens, props and tape. With the Photobooth Classic, up to 800 photo strips in 5 × 15 cm format are possible in one evening, or 400 postcard-size prints.
When to book
In Vienna the registry office appointment is usually made about six months ahead – that is the point at which the photo station is worth asking about too. Saturdays in May, August and September are the first dates to go. Four to eight weeks ahead is still typical, and short notice often works. Just ask and we will tell you straight away whether your date is free. For a print layout in your wedding design, allow about a week's lead time.
Space, ceiling height and power at your venue
A palais, a Heuriger (a traditional Viennese wine tavern), a castle or a roof terrace – three figures decide which device fits:
- Floor space. The Photobooth Classic and the Magic Mirror need about two by two metres including room for guests to move. The 360° Ground Spinner additionally needs clearance for the rotating camera arm.
- Ceiling height. The Magic Mirror needs 212 cm, because the unit itself is 202 cm tall. The Photobooth Classic and the Ground Spinner work with normal ceiling height – a vaulted cellar included.
- Power. One standard 230 V socket is enough for any device. No three-phase power, no arrangements with the building's technician. We bring our own internet.
How the wedding day runs
We deliver at the agreed time and set up in about 30 minutes – before the reception, not in the middle of it. The station runs for up to twelve hours, from the drinks reception through the cake to the dance floor. Running time does not change the price – we charge per event day, not per hour. We collect everything again afterwards, however late that is. In Vienna, delivery, setup and takedown are included in the price; outside Vienna there is a travel fee, stated transparently in the quote – we work across Austria. FiestaPics has been running since 2019. All the proven devices are in the Classic Line, the large installations in the Premium Line.

How early should we ask about a photo booth for our wedding?
Saturdays in May, August and September are the most requested dates of the year, so it pays to ask early. Short notice often still works – just ask and we will tell you straight away whether your date is free.
What does the price for a wedding photo booth depend on?
Four things shape the quote: which device you choose, whether one of us is there to look after it, how much design and branding you want, and where your venue is.
What does not affect the price is the running time – we charge per event day, not per hour. In Vienna, delivery, setup and takedown are included; outside Vienna there is a travel fee, stated transparently in the quote. You get a quote with every item listed within 24 hours – no obligation, no deposit.
Does it cost more if the photo booth runs longer?
No. The price is per event day, not per hour. Whether the station opens at the drinks reception or runs from the ceremony to the last dance makes no difference to the quote – up to twelve hours on the event day are possible. Only the on-site attendant is booked by the hour. If you celebrate on two days, the second day counts as its own event day.
How do the photos become a guest book?
Every shot prints twice: one strip for the guest, one for the book. We put the album, pens and tape next to the station – guests stick their picture in and write beside it. At the end of the night you take home a full guest book, without anyone having to be nudged.
How much space does the photo station need at the venue?
The Photobooth Classic needs about two by two metres, and so does the Magic Mirror – each including room for guests to move. The 360° Headspinner needs four by four metres; the 360° Ground Spinner about two by two metres plus clearance for the rotating camera arm.
Does a photo booth fit into a palais or a vaulted cellar?
Yes. The Photobooth Classic, the Magic Mirror and the 360° Ground Spinner all work with normal ceiling height. Only the 360° Headspinner needs four metres – in a low vault the Ground Spinner is the better choice. Tell us the venue and we will tell you what fits.
What power supply do you need?
One standard 230 V socket is enough for any of our devices. No three-phase power, no arrangements with the building's technician. We bring our own internet; the venue's Wi-Fi is a backup at most.
Can the print layout match our wedding design?
Yes. We design the print layout, start screen and frame in your look – with your names, the date, your typeface or your monogram. Please allow about a week for that.
How many photos can our guests get through in one evening?
With the Photobooth Classic, up to 800 photo strips in 5 × 15 cm format are possible, or 400 postcard-size prints. Every shot prints twice. The 360° Headspinner handles around 100 guests per hour, up to five people at a time.
Is someone from your team there during the wedding?
On request, yes. An on-site attendant can be booked for four to ten hours – someone from us stays at the device, briefs your guests, reloads paper and keeps things running. With some devices, such as the 360° Headspinner, the attendant is always included.
How do we get the digital photos after the wedding?
After the celebration you get a gallery with every shot. By default the data stays stored for one month, less by arrangement. The images are never used to train AI models.
Do you travel to weddings outside Vienna?
Yes, we work across Austria – Lower Austria, Burgenland and beyond. In Vienna, delivery, setup and takedown are included in the price; outside Vienna there is a travel fee, stated transparently in the quote.
