What a photo station delivers is rare at a company event: a result people actually take home. Tight space, fixed running order – and it still fits
Christmas parties rarely happen in an empty hall. Usually it is a restaurant or an event room with laid tables, and the evening runs to a schedule: reception, dinner, the managing director's speech, dessert, dance floor. That is exactly why a photo station is easier than a photographer – it needs no slot in the programme, it simply runs alongside.
What we need is very little: about two by two metres and a socket nearby. The best spot is rarely the dance floor but the route everyone takes anyway – next to the bar, by the entrance to the cloakroom, or where people head out for a break. December gets tight
Christmas parties crowd into a few dates: the two weeks before Christmas, and within them mostly Thursdays and Fridays. If you want a photo station, ask in October or November. Four to eight weeks ahead is typical, and short notice sometimes still works – just less often in December than in any other month. Ask and we will tell you straight away whether your date is free. For your own festive print layout, allow about a week's lead time.

At company parties the same wish always comes up: every team wants a picture together. A station handles that better than a photographer – people step up when they feel like it, instead of being called together. The Magic Mirror captures groups of around eight people at full length. With the Photobooth Classic, up to 800 photo strips in one evening are possible, and every shot prints twice. Above 150 guests a second station is worth it, so no queue forms before dessert.
Festive layout, logo and props
We design the print layout, start screen and frame in the look of your party – with your company logo, the year and festive motifs if you want them. Add props that match the occasion and backdrops from gold to green screen. Every print carries your logo and ends up on a fridge door rather than in a bin.
How it runs
We set up in about 30 minutes, even while the venue is still being laid out. One standard 230 V socket is enough, and we bring our own internet. The station runs for up to twelve hours. Running time does not change the price – we charge per event day, not per hour. We collect everything again afterwards, however late that is. In Vienna, delivery, setup and takedown are included; we work across Austria.

Is there still a free date in December?
Often yes, but it gets tight – Christmas parties crowd into the two weeks before Christmas, and within them mostly Thursday and Friday. Anyone who asks in October or November has the full choice. Just ask and we will tell you straight away whether your date is free.
Where is the best place to put the photo booth in the venue?
Where guests pass by anyway: next to the bar, on the way to the cloakroom, or at the edge of the dance floor – not in the middle of it. Two by two metres is enough, with a socket nearby. Send us the floor plan or a photo with your enquiry and we will suggest the spot.
What does the price for a Christmas party photo booth depend on?
Four things shape the quote: which device you choose, whether one of us is there to look after it, how much branding and design you want, and where the venue is.
What does not affect the price is the running time – we charge per event day, not per hour. In Vienna, delivery, setup and takedown are included; outside Vienna there is a travel fee, stated transparently in the quote. The quote arrives within 24 hours, with no obligation and no deposit.
Does it cost more if the station runs into the night?
No. The price is per event day, not per hour – up to twelve hours on the event day are possible. At Christmas parties that is exactly the point that makes planning easier: nobody has to know in advance when the evening ends. Only the on-site attendant is booked by the hour.
Does the station interrupt the running order of the evening?
No, it needs no slot of its own in the programme. It runs alongside the dinner and the speeches, and is usually busiest after dessert, once the tables break up. No announcements or hosting are needed – though our on-site attendant will happily take that on.
How do we get a group photo of every team?
That is where a station beats a photographer: teams step up when it suits them. The Magic Mirror and the Photobooth Classic capture groups of around eight people, the 360° Headspinner up to five at a time. Tell us your guest count and we will tell you whether one station is enough.
How many photos can we get through in one evening?
With the Photobooth Classic, up to 800 photo strips in 5 × 15 cm format are possible, or 400 postcard-size prints. Every shot prints twice. The 360° Headspinner handles around 100 guests per hour. From about 150 guests a second station is worth it.
Can we get our own festive layout?
Yes. We design the print layout, start screen and frame in the look of your party – with your company logo, the year and festive motifs. Allow about a week's lead time.
How much space and what power supply do you need?
The Photobooth Classic and the Magic Mirror need about two by two metres including room for guests to move; the 360° Headspinner four by four metres and four metres of ceiling height. One standard 230 V socket is enough for any device. We bring our own internet.
Can you set up while the venue is already being laid out?
Yes, that is the normal case. Setup takes about 30 minutes, with no drilling, no noise and no three-phase power.
What happens to photos of our employees?
After the event you get a gallery with every shot. By default the data stays stored for one month, less by arrangement. The images are never used to train AI models. If the gallery should not go online at all, say so when you enquire.
Do we get an invoice to the company?
Yes, with VAT ID and after the event. The quote comes as a PDF beforehand so you can present it internally. We do not ask for a deposit.
Do you travel to Christmas parties outside Vienna?
Yes, we work across Austria. In Vienna, delivery, setup and takedown are included in the price; outside Vienna there is a travel fee, stated transparently in the quote.
