Are there digital props like emojis or hats?

Yes. After taking the shot, digital props can be added to the image – emojis, hats, glasses, stickers and more. The advantage over physical props: nothing gets lost, nothing needs cleaning, and the selection can be put together to match the occasion.

Are there travel costs outside Vienna?

In Vienna, delivery, setup and takedown are included in the price. Outside Vienna there are travel costs – they depend on the distance and are stated transparently in the quote. We work throughout Austria.

Can guests write on the photo with their finger?

Yes. After the shot, guests can write or draw directly on the mirror with a finger – names, wishes, little doodles. The signature ends up on the print too. Especially at weddings, this creates personal keepsakes that go well beyond a regular photo.

Can the Magic Mirror also record GIFs or Boomerangs?

Yes, that can be added as an option. Besides still photos, the Magic Mirror can also capture moving formats – like GIFs or Boomerangs that are easy to share on social media. Just let us know when you enquire if you want moving image, and we'll set the mirror up accordingly.

Can the mirror photo booths be used outdoors?

Yes, on one condition: the spot has to be covered. In rain or high humidity we advise against it – the camera, screen and printer are sensitive to it. But a covered terrace, a marquee or a pavilion is perfectly fine. Let us know with your enquiry if you're planning to use it outdoors – then we'll clarify the details in advance.

Does it cost more if the booth runs longer?

No. We charge per event day, not per hour. Whether the booth runs for two hours or well into the night makes no difference to the quote – up to twelve hours on the event day are possible. If your event continues the following day, a second event day is added. The only thing booked by the hour is an attendant on site. On the units that always run attended – 360° Headspinner, 360° Ground Spinner, photo booth robot, AI Sketcher and Photo Mosaic Wall – the standard package includes a fixed number of attended hours, and you can book additional hours on top.

Does the Magic Mirror need an internet connection?

You don't need to prepare anything – we bring our own mobile modem. If mobile reception at your venue is weak, we're happy to connect to an existing Wi-Fi network instead. The mirror works fully without internet too: taking photos and printing carry on as normal, only sending via QR code or email gets caught up afterwards.

Does the Magic Mirror run without supervision too?

Both are possible – the Magic Mirror runs reliably unsupervised too. For larger events and high-end occasions, though, we recommend on-site support. Our promoters are trained on the equipment, handle paper changes if the print material runs low, and support guests directly with taking photos. Supervision is an optional add-on – just tell us when you enquire how your event is planned, and we'll advise you.

How big is the Magic Mirror – what are the dimensions of each model?

All dimensions as height × width × depth: Magic Mirror X – 202 × 75 × 27 cm. Magic Mirror Retro – 200 × 92 × 52 cm. Magic iMirror – 180 × 68 × 60 cm. At 27 cm, the Magic Mirror X is the slimmest, which also lets it fit where there's little depth to spare. The iMirror is the shortest and suits rooms with limited ceiling height. For setup plus room to move in front of the mirror, plan for around 2 × 2 metres with any model. If you're unsure whether it'll fit your venue, just tell us the conditions and we'll advise on placement.

How does a session at the Magic Mirror work?

The process is self-explanatory: 1. Guests stand in front of the mirror and start the shot via touch. 2. An animation guides them through the countdown – time to get into position. 3. The photo is taken and shown on the mirror right away. 4. On request, it can be edited directly: sign with a finger or add digital props. 5. Finally it's printed and, if wanted, sent to a phone via QR code or email. No instructions needed – the guidance on the mirror explains itself.

How does setup and takedown work? Do I need to prepare anything?

You don't need to worry about a thing. We deliver, set up and collect everything again – on time, discreetly and coordinated with your schedule. All that's useful is a power outlet nearby. We bring a 10-metre extension cable.

How is the image quality in low light?

Bright, high-contrast photos even in dark rooms. That's thanks to two built-in flashes combined with the Canon DSLR. That's the difference to devices with a basic camera and LED light: at evening events, in wine cellars or under disco lighting, the shots stay sharp and true to colour.

How long does setup of the Magic Mirror take?

Allow around an hour on site – delivery, setup and adjusting to the lighting conditions included. We arrive in good time before your event starts, so the mirror is ready when the first guests turn up. After the event we pack everything away again.

How long does the Magic Mirror X run at an event?

The standard package runs for up to 12 hours. That covers even long evenings, from the welcome drinks to the last round. Setup and pick-up happen outside that window – the hours start the moment the mirror is ready for your guests.

How many people fit in one photo?

3 to 4 people fit comfortably. The Magic Mirror shoots in portrait format – which means guests appear at full size, head to toe. With larger groups this gets tighter than with a photo booth shooting in landscape. Want bigger group photos? The Photobooth Classic is the better choice. Either way, the live preview on the mirror shows guests straight away who's in frame.

How many prints come with the Magic Mirror?

The print package includes 400 prints in postcard format (10 × 15 cm) or 800 photo strips in 5 × 15 cm format. An extra paper roll can be added. If paper does run low towards the end, guests can carry on taking photos and take their pictures home digitally.

How much lead time do you need for the Magic Mirror X?

There is no fixed lead time – just send us your date and we'll check availability. For a branded print layout in your own look we plan about one week. Short-notice bookings are possible; in that case we use a ready-made layout from our catalogue.

How much space does the Magic Mirror X need?

Set up, the mirror measures 75 × 27 × 202 cm (width × depth × height) and weighs around 90 kg. At just 27 cm deep it is our slimmest device. Plan for an area of around 2 × 2 metres so guests have room in front of it, also in groups. The ceiling should be at least 212 cm high. For delivery we need level, solid ground; a passenger lift is enough.

Is a deposit required?

No. You pay nothing in advance. We work on the principle of business before pleasure: the invoice comes only after the event, once everything has gone smoothly.

Is the Magic Mirror wheelchair accessible?

The Magic Mirror stands on the floor and is built as a full-length mirror – guests in wheelchairs are in frame and can trigger the shot themselves. The touch area sits comparatively high, though. Just give us a heads-up when you enquire if accessibility matters for your event – we'll adjust the setup accordingly.

What does it cost to rent a Magic Mirror in Vienna?

There is no fixed price – every event is different. The main factors are: – how long the mirror is in use – which print package and layouts you choose – whether props or supervision are added – where the event takes place Send us the date, location and occasion – you'll get a quote with a fixed price listing every service included.

What happens if my event is cancelled or postponed?

We handle that flexibly and charge no cancellation fees. The only exception are products for which individually made parts have already been produced – the Photo Mosaic Wall or the AI Sketcher, for instance. In that case only the cost of the printing materials is charged. Just get in touch as soon as you know. If a replacement date is already fixed, we are happy to hold it for you.

What is a Magic Mirror?

A Magic Mirror is a photo booth in mirror form. The front is hardened two-way mirror glass – guests see themselves in it at full size, while the technology works behind it. On the Magic Mirror X the mirror surface is 70 inches and touch-enabled; behind it work a Canon DSLR, two built-in flashes and a mini PC. Everything is operated right at the mirror: tap, pose, view the picture, print. The difference to a classic photo booth is less about the technology than the experience – the mirror is an eye-catcher in the room and draws guests in on its own.

What makes the Magic Mirror X, Retro and iMirror different?

Technically these three mirrors are all at the same level – same experiences, same effects, same image quality. The difference is in build, size and look. All dimensions as height × width × depth: Magic Mirror X – 202 × 75 × 27 cm, clean modern look, the right pick when floor space is tight. Magic Mirror Retro – 200 × 92 × 52 cm with a gold frame, the most eye-catching of the three and suited to balls and weddings. Magic iMirror – 180 × 68 × 60 cm, the most compact, ideal when ceiling height is limited. All three are pure mirror photo booths: they take photos, let you edit the image right on the mirror and print it out. AI transformations of your guests such as cartoon, face swap or oldify are not part of it. If those AI effects are what you are after, the AI Magic Mirror is the right device. It is a separate product and should not be confused with the three models here.

What power supply does the mirror photo booth need?

A standard household socket is enough, and we bring an extension cable. If the power cuts out briefly, the mirror restarts automatically as soon as it's back on – nobody has to step in.

What's the difference between a Magic Mirror and a photo booth?

Technically the two aren't far apart: a professional camera, studio flash, lab-quality instant prints – the photo booth and the Magic Mirror share all of that. The differences lie elsewhere: Full-body shot – the mirror shows guests at full size, the photo booth more of a chest-up or half shot. Operated on the mirror glass itself – signing and adding props happens right on the mirror surface. Presence in the room – the mirror is a piece of décor and draws looks even when no one's using it. Where do I find the photos after the event?

Right at the mirror, guests can get their picture onto their phone via QR code or email. As the organiser, you'll get a download link with all the shots after the event. An online gallery can be added as an option – at corporate events it's often deliberately skipped for data protection reasons.

Which accessories and dress-up items can I book?

Accessories can be booked as packages or brought along yourself. Available: – small packages – large packages – special packages (e.g. Christmas parties or themed events) Since accessories are often taken home as keepsakes, they are charged as flat packages. Missing individual pieces are not charged separately.

Which background options are available for the Magic Mirror?

The Magic Mirror X is our largest mirror photo booth: 202 cm tall, 75 cm wide — and only 27 cm deep. At the front sits a 70-inch mirror surface in portrait format, made of hardened two-way mirror glass set into an aluminium frame. Guests tap straight onto the mirror and an animation walks them through the shot.

That slim build is the real reason it gets booked: it stands where a classic photo booth simply will not fit — against a foyer wall, beside the dance floor, on a trade fair stand. Plan for around 2 × 2 metres including room to move; a standard household socket is all it needs.

We deliver the mirror to your venue at the agreed time and set it up. In Vienna, delivery, setup and collection are included in the price; outside Vienna there is a travel fee, stated transparently in the quote — we work across Austria.
