Are the AI products GDPR-compliant?

We've put the groundwork in place and are open about how the processing works: – Contractually covered: we have a data processing agreement (DPA) with our software supplier. Its servers are located in the USA; standard contractual clauses are used for transfers outside the EEA. – No AI training: the photos are not used to train the artificial intelligence. – Deletion: after one month by default – earlier on request, for example directly after your event. – Consent: on request we display a notice before the session which guests actively agree to. – No facial recognition for identification: the AI generates images, it doesn't match people against anything. Worth knowing: at corporate events you as the organiser are responsible under data protection law and we work on your behalf. Let us know early if special requirements apply to your event – we're happy to work out the details with you. All our AI products use the same software and therefore the same process.

Are there travel costs outside Vienna?

In Vienna, delivery, setup and takedown are included in the price. Outside Vienna there are travel costs – they depend on the distance and are stated transparently in the quote. We work throughout Austria.

Can guests give their consent before the photo is taken?

Yes. Before the session starts, a notice can be displayed which guests actively agree to before they're photographed. We agree the wording with you – at corporate events this is often requested. Let us know with your enquiry and we'll set it up.

Can I also use the mirror photo booth for marketing?

We have various options for realizing your branding, whether directly on the mirror or on the finished photo prints.

Can the Magic Mirror also be used outdoors?

Yes, under certain conditions: the spot where it stands has to be covered. In bad weather we advise against outdoor use – the technology is sensitive to moisture.

Does it cost more if the booth runs longer?

No. We charge per event day, not per hour. Whether the booth runs for two hours or well into the night makes no difference to the quote – up to twelve hours on the event day are possible. If your event continues the following day, a second event day is added. The only thing booked by the hour is an attendant on site. On the units that always run attended – 360° Headspinner, 360° Ground Spinner, photo booth robot, AI Sketcher and Photo Mosaic Wall – the standard package includes a fixed number of attended hours, and you can book additional hours on top.

Does the AI Magic Mirror need an internet connection?

Yes – unlike our mirror photo booths without AI, an internet connection is required here. The images are processed externally. We bring our own 5G internet. We can't guarantee in advance that reception at any given venue will be sufficient – it's often weak in wine cellars, older buildings or halls. That's why we'd ideally also want a stable internet connection on site. Best to clarify this early with your venue – it affects how smoothly the AI features run.

How are the images processed on the AI Magic Mirror?

The AI images are generated in the cloud – the photo is sent off for processing and comes back as a finished image after 20 to 30 seconds. Without this step the effects are not technically possible. If your event requires that photos never leave the device, our mirror photo booths without AI are the right alternative – there everything stays local. Just get in touch and we'll advise you.

How big is the AI Magic Mirror and what does it look like?

Set up, the AI Magic Mirror measures 80 × 60 × 220 cm (W × D × H) and weighs 80 to 90 kg depending on the version. Allow around 2 × 2 metres including room for guests to move, and a minimum ceiling height of 230 cm. Visually it is a portrait-format mirror with light all around it – guests see themselves full length and operate everything on the touchscreen. For events with a nostalgic look we bring the AI Magic Mirror Retro in a gold frame: same technology, same AI effects, just a different front. Not to be confused with our mirror photo booths without AI – Magic Mirror Retro, Magic iMirror and Magic Mirror X have their own dimensions and their own product pages.

How long are the photos stored?

You decide how long the pictures stay available. The standard storage period is one month – long enough for guests to download their pictures at their leisure. After that they're deleted. If you want it shorter, we'll set that up: directly after the event or at another agreed time. Just let us know with your enquiry.

How long does it take until the AI image is ready?

Count on 20 to 30 seconds per image – sometimes a bit faster, sometimes a bit slower. How quickly it goes depends noticeably on the internet connection: the more stable the line at the venue, the faster the processing. Meanwhile, an animation runs on the mirror so guests can see something is happening.

How long does the AI Magic Mirror run at an event?

A booking covers one event day of up to twelve hours – for example from 6 pm to 4 am. Individual times or extensions are possible by arrangement. For multi-day events the mirror stays set up.

Is a deposit required?

No. You pay nothing in advance. We work on the principle of business before pleasure: the invoice comes only after the event, once everything has gone smoothly.

What happens if my event is cancelled or postponed?

We handle that flexibly and charge no cancellation fees. The only exception are products for which individually made parts have already been produced – the Photo Mosaic Wall or the AI Sketcher, for instance. In that case only the cost of the printing materials is charged. Just get in touch as soon as you know. If a replacement date is already fixed, we are happy to hold it for you.

What power supply does the mirror photo booth need?

A standard household socket is enough, and we bring an extension cable. If the power cuts out briefly, the mirror restarts automatically as soon as it's back on – nobody has to step in.

What's the difference between the AI Magic Mirror and a normal mirror photo booth?

The AI Magic Mirror is our AI take on the mirror photo booth – its own product with its own set of features. A mirror photo booth without AI takes photos, lets guests edit the image right on the device and prints it. The AI Magic Mirror goes further and creates AI-generated images too: swapping faces, turning portraits into artwork, bringing sketches to life – finished in 20 to 30 seconds. Watch out for the similar names: Magic Mirror X, Magic Mirror Retro and Magic iMirror are mirror photo booths without AI. The AI Magic Mirror is the AI version.

When will the Magic Mirror be delivered/picked up?

We will focus on you and your event. In any case, we deliver the Magic Mirror in good time before the start, assemble it and adjust it optimally to the existing lighting conditions.

Which AI device fits my event?

All four devices in our AI Line run the same AI effects. What differs is the form factor and the flow. The AI Photobooth is a compact column that needs only 1.5 x 1.5 m - first choice on trade fair stands and anywhere space is tight. The AI Magic Mirror is a large portrait-format mirror with full-body shots - first choice when the device itself should be an eye-catcher. The AI Guest Booth has no camera of its own: guests send photos from their own phones and get them back transformed - first choice with very large crowds or when the event spreads across several rooms. The AI Photo Booth Robot drives through the room and goes to the guests - first choice when the photo booth should not stay in one spot. Renting an AI Mirror Photo Booth in Vienna – what you get

The AI Magic Mirror is a mirror photo booth that turns every shot into an AI image. Guests step in front of it, pick an effect on the touchscreen and hold their finished picture 20 to 30 seconds later – printed, and digitally via QR code or email.

It comes in three versions: as the Magic Mirror X with a 70-inch mirror surface, as the compact Magic iMirror for low ceilings, and as the gold-framed Magic Mirror Retro. The technology, the AI effects and the flow are the same for all three; what differs is size, look and the space they need.

We deliver at the agreed time, set up, test everything and collect the device after the event. In Vienna, delivery, setup and teardown are included; outside Vienna a travel fee is stated transparently in the quote. On site we need a standard power socket and roughly two by two metres of space.

The same mirrors are also available without AI: Magic Mirror Retro, Magic iMirror and Magic Mirror X then shoot classic photos – with frame selection, drawing and instant printing, but without transforming your guests with AI. That transformation is exactly what the AI version is built for.

Within the AI Line it is the option with a mirror surface and full-body shots. If you would rather have a compact stand, the AI Photobooth fits. If guests should send in pictures from their own phones, choose the AI Guest Booth. And if you want a robot driving through the room, it is LUNA, our photo booth robot.

The AI Magic Mirror is booked mostly for company parties, product launches, trade fairs and weddings – wherever guests should take home something they have never seen before.
