Are the AI products GDPR compliant?

We have put the necessary foundations in place and are transparent about how processing works: Contractually regulated: We have a data processing agreement (DPA) with our software provider. Its servers are located in the USA; standard contractual clauses are used for transfers outside the EEA. No AI training: The images are not used to train the artificial intelligence. Deletion: After one month by default – earlier on request, for example right after your event. Consent: On request, we display a notice before the session that guests actively agree to. No facial recognition for identification: The AI generates images; it does not match people. Good to know: At corporate events, you as the organizer are the data controller, and we work on your behalf. Let us know early if your event has special requirements – we're happy to work out the details with you. All our AI products use the same software and therefore the same process. And if images aren't allowed to leave the device at all, our products without AI are the right alternative – there, everything stays local.

Are there travel costs outside of Vienna?

In Vienna, delivery, setup, and teardown are included in the price. Outside of Vienna, travel costs are added – they depend on the distance and are listed transparently in your quote. We operate all across Austria.

Can guests give consent before being photographed?

Yes. Before a session starts, a notice can be displayed that guests actively agree to before they are photographed. We'll agree on the wording with you – this is often requested for corporate events in particular. Let us know when you send your request, and we'll set it up.

Can I use the photo mirror for marketing?

We have various ways to bring your branding to life, whether directly on the mirror or on the finished photo prints.

Can the Magic Mirror photo mirror be used outdoors?

Yes, under certain conditions: the spot definitely needs to be covered. We advise against it in bad weather, as the equipment is sensitive to moisture.

Does it cost more if the station runs longer?

No. We charge per event day, not per hour. Whether the station runs for two hours or late into the night makes no difference to your quote – up to twelve hours per event day are possible. If your event continues the next day, a second event day is added. The only thing booked by the hour is the on-site attendant. For devices that always run with an attendant – 360° Headspinner, 360° Ground Spinner, photo booth robot, AI Sketcher, and Photo Mosaic Wall – the standard package includes a fixed number of hours, and you can add extra attendant hours on top.

Does the AI Magic Mirror need an internet connection?

Yes – unlike our photo mirrors without AI, an internet connection is absolutely required here. The images are processed externally. We bring our own 5G internet with us. However, we can't guarantee in advance that the reception at a given venue will be sufficient – especially in vaulted cellars, old buildings or halls it's often weak. That's why we ideally also need a stable internet connection on site. It's best to check this with your venue early on – it determines how smoothly the AI features run.

How are the images processed with the AI Magic Mirror?

The AI images are generated in the cloud – the photo is transmitted for processing and comes back as a finished image after 20 to 30 seconds. Without this step, the effects are technically impossible. If your event requires that images never leave the device, our photo mirrors without AI are the right alternative – there, everything stays local. Just get in touch, and we'll advise you.

How big is the AI Magic Mirror, and what does it look like?

Set up, the AI Magic Mirror measures 80 × 60 × 220 cm (W × D × H) and weighs 80 to 90 kg depending on the version. For the setup including room for guests to move, allow around 2 × 2 meters; the minimum ceiling height is 230 cm. Visually, it's a portrait-format mirror with lighting all the way around – guests see themselves at full size and operate everything directly on the touchscreen. For events with a nostalgic look, we use the AI Magic Mirror Retro in a gold frame: same technology, same AI effects, just a different front. Not to be confused with our photo mirrors without AI – Magic Mirror Retro, Magic iMirror and Magic Mirror X have their own dimensions and their own product pages.

How long are the photos stored?

You decide how long the images stay available. The default is a storage period of one month – long enough for guests to download their pictures at their leisure. After that, they are deleted. If you'd like it shorter, we'll set that up: right after the event or at any other agreed time. Just let us know when you send your request.

How long does it take for the AI image to be ready?

Allow 20 to 30 seconds per image – sometimes a little faster, sometimes a little slower. The duration depends noticeably on the internet connection: The more stable the connection at the venue, the faster the processing. In the meantime, an animation plays on the mirror so guests can see that something is happening.

How long does the AI Magic Mirror run at the event?

Your booking covers one event day with up to twelve hours of operation – for example from 6:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. Custom hours or extensions are possible on request. For multi-day events, the mirror stays set up in place.

What happens if my event is canceled or postponed?

We handle this flexibly and charge no cancellation fees. The only exception is products for which custom-made parts have already been produced – for example with the Photo Mosaic Wall or the AI Sketcher. In that case, only the cost of the print materials is charged. Just get in touch as soon as you know. If a new date is already set, we'll gladly hold it for you.

What power supply does the photo mirror need?

A standard household outlet is all it takes, and we bring an extension cord. If the power goes out briefly, the mirror restarts automatically as soon as it comes back on – no one needs to step in.

What sets the AI Magic Mirror apart from a regular photo mirror?

The AI Magic Mirror is our AI version of the photo mirror – a product in its own right with its own feature set. A photo mirror without AI takes the photo, lets you edit the image right on the device and prints it. On top of that, the AI Magic Mirror creates AI-generated images: swapping faces, turning portraits into works of art, bringing sketches to life – ready in 20 to 30 seconds. Watch out for the similar names: Magic Mirror X, Magic Mirror Retro and Magic iMirror are photo mirrors without AI. The AI Magic Mirror is the AI version.

When is the Magic Mirror delivered and picked up?

We work around you and your event. In any case, we deliver the Magic Mirror photo mirror well before the start, set it up, and adjust it perfectly to the lighting on site.

Which AI device fits my event?

All four devices in our AI Line work with the same AI effects. The difference is in the form factor and the flow: AI Photo Booth – compact column, needs just 1.5 × 1.5 m. First choice at trade show booths and anywhere space is limited. AI Magic Mirror – large portrait-format mirror, full-body shots and real presence. First choice when the device itself should be an eye-catcher. AI Guest Booth – no camera of its own: guests send photos from their own phones and get them back transformed. First choice for very large guest counts or when the event is spread across several rooms. AI Photo Booth Robot – drives through the room on its own and goes to the guests. Renting the AI Magic Mirror in Vienna – what to expect

The AI Magic Mirror is our AI mirror photo booth: a mirror booth that turns every photo into an AI image. Guests step in front of it, pick an effect on the touchscreen and hold their finished picture in their hands after 20 to 30 seconds – printed, plus digitally via QR code or email.

It comes in three versions: as the Magic Mirror X with a 70-inch mirror, as the compact Magic iMirror for low ceilings, and as the Magic Mirror Retro with a gold frame. Technology, AI effects and the process are identical on all three; what differs is size, look and footprint.

We deliver the device at the agreed time, set it up, test everything and collect it after the event. In Vienna, delivery, setup and teardown are included; outside Vienna, a transparently listed travel fee applies. On site, we need a standard power outlet and around two by two meters of space.

The same mirrors are available without AI: the Magic Mirror Retro, Magic iMirror and Magic Mirror X then shoot the classic way – with frame selection, drawing function and instant prints, but without the AI transformation. And that transformation is exactly what the AI mirror is all about.

Within the AI Line, it's the version with a mirror surface and full-length shots. If you're looking for a compact column instead, the AI Photo Booth fits. If guests should send pictures from their own phones, the AI Guest Booth is the right choice. And if you want a robot rolling through the room, it's the photo booth robot.
