Are the AI products GDPR-compliant?

We've put the groundwork in place and are open about how the processing works: – Contractually covered: we have a data processing agreement (DPA) with our software supplier. Its servers are located in the USA; standard contractual clauses are used for transfers outside the EEA. – No AI training: the photos are not used to train the artificial intelligence. – Deletion: after one month by default – earlier on request, for example directly after your event. – Consent: on request we display a notice before the session which guests actively agree to. – No facial recognition for identification: the AI generates images, it doesn't match people against anything. Worth knowing: at corporate events you as the organiser are responsible under data protection law and we work on your behalf. Let us know early if special requirements apply to your event – we're happy to work out the details with you. All our AI products use the same software and therefore the same process.

Are there travel costs outside Vienna?

In Vienna, delivery, setup and takedown are included in the price. Outside Vienna there are travel costs – they depend on the distance and are stated transparently in the quote. We work throughout Austria.

Can guests give their consent before the photo is taken?

Yes. Before the session starts, a notice can be displayed which guests actively agree to before they're photographed. We agree the wording with you – at corporate events this is often requested. Let us know with your enquiry and we'll set it up.

Can the photo booth robot be personalised?

Yes. The branding on the robot and the design of the photos can both be matched to your event. That covers overlays, logos and frames on the prints, as well as a wrap on the robot itself. Send us your logo with your enquiry and we will prepare it.

Can the photo booth robot be used outdoors?

Yes, as long as the ground is level and solid. Asphalt, concrete or a firm wooden floor all work. Grass, gravel and cobblestones are not suitable for LUNA, and neither are steps or thresholds. Tell us what the surface looks like when you enquire and we will check it in advance.

Does it cost more if the booth runs longer?

No. We charge per event day, not per hour. Whether the booth runs for two hours or well into the night makes no difference to the quote – up to twelve hours on the event day are possible. If your event continues the following day, a second event day is added. The only thing booked by the hour is an attendant on site. On the units that always run attended – 360° Videobooth, 360° Ground Spinner, photo booth robot, AI Sketcher and Photo Mosaic Wall – the standard package includes a fixed number of attended hours, and you can book additional hours on top.

Does the photo booth robot need special conditions on site?

The floor has to be level and solid, with no thresholds or steps. LUNA needs little else. We do not need a power connection for her to run, as she works entirely on battery power. For data transfer we bring our own mobile internet. The only requirement is good mobile reception at the venue.

Does the photo booth robot talk to guests?

No. LUNA has no voice output, she makes no announcements and asks no questions. She gets attention simply by driving up to the guests. Anything that needs saying comes from our member of staff, who accompanies her with the remote control.

How big and how heavy is the photo booth robot?

LUNA stands around 150 cm tall on a footprint of roughly 60 x 60 cm and weighs between 60 and 80 kg. That means she fits through any door from 80 cm wide. We take care of transport, setup and takedown.

How do guests get their photos?

Instant prints are standard. The printer travels inside LUNA, so every group gets its print in hand right after the shot. The photos can also be shared digitally, by QR code, email or straight to social media. Alongside classic stills there is a GIF mode for short moving sequences.

How far in advance do I need to book the photo booth robot?

There is no fixed lead time. All that matters is whether your date is still free. Short-notice enquiries are possible too. For popular dates it is still worth asking early.

How long are the photos stored?

You decide how long the pictures stay available. The standard storage period is one month – long enough for guests to download their pictures at their leisure. After that they're deleted. If you want it shorter, we'll set that up: directly after the event or at another agreed time. Just let us know with your enquiry.

How long can the photo booth robot be used for?

The standard package covers five hours, with on-site supervision always included. If you need longer, an extension can be booked. The battery is not a limit: we swap it for a charged spare during the event.

How long do setup and takedown take?

Setup takes 30 minutes and takedown 20 minutes. We arrive in good time before the start and work around your schedule. In Vienna, delivery, setup and takedown are included.

How many guests can the photo booth robot handle per hour?

We reckon with around 60 photo sessions per hour. Each session usually has a whole group in front of the camera, so far more than 60 guests end up in the pictures. Over five hours that comes to roughly 300 sessions.

How many prints are there and in what format?

The printer travels inside LUNA, so instant prints are standard. Every group gets its print straight after the shot. With the photo booth robot from the Classic Line you have a choice: 800 photo strips in 5 x 15 cm or 400 prints in 10 x 15 cm. The AI photo booth robot prints 400 photos in 10 x 15 cm only. Extra print material can be added at any time. We design the logo, frame and colours to match your event.

How much space does the photo booth robot need?

LUNA does not need a fixed spot. She parks at the edge of the room and sets off when she is needed. What matters are clear routes between the tables. As long as there is enough room there, she can reach every corner. Tell us how the seating is arranged when you enquire and we will plan the routes in advance.

Is a deposit required?

No. You pay nothing in advance. We work on the principle of business before pleasure: the invoice comes only after the event, once everything has gone smoothly.

Is the photo booth robot safe in a crowd?

Yes. LUNA only moves at walking pace and detects obstacles with distance sensors. There is also an emergency stop. She never drives unattended: a member of our staff steers her by remote control throughout and keeps an eye on the guests. On a busy dance floor we simply wait until the way is clear.

What AI features are available?

The AI Photo Booth Robot brings these effects with it, right on the device: AI group headshot (professional group portraits), StylePop (guests as a vinyl-style collectible figure), AI background removal (automatic backdrop swap), Line2Life (drawings turned into finished pictures), DrawMe (drawn portraits of your guests), face swap (faces placed into prepared scenes), Oldify (guests aged by decades) and AI Cartoon (turned into comic style). Which effects are unlocked on your night is something we agree in advance. Without AI, LUNA comes as the photo booth robot from the Classic Line.

What happens if my event is cancelled or postponed?

We handle that flexibly and charge no cancellation fees. The only exception are products for which individually made parts have already been produced – the Photo Mosaic Wall or the AI Sketcher, for instance. In that case only the cost of the printing materials is charged. Just get in touch as soon as you know. If a replacement date is already fixed, we are happy to hold it for you.

What makes the photo booth robot different from a stationary photo booth?

A fixed photo booth waits for people to come to it. LUNA drives to the guests, to the table, onto the dance floor, right into the group. That way you also get photos of guests who would never have queued up on their own. No queue forms, and nobody has to leave their seat.

Which AI device fits my event?

All four devices in our AI Line run the same AI effects. What differs is the form factor and the flow. The AI Photobooth is a compact column that needs only 1.5 x 1.5 m - first choice on trade fair stands and anywhere space is tight. The AI Magic Mirror is a large portrait-format mirror with full-body shots - first choice when the device itself should be an eye-catcher. The AI Guest Booth has no camera of its own: guests send photos from their own phones and get them back transformed - first choice with very large crowds or when the event spreads across several rooms. The AI Photo Booth Robot drives through the room and goes to the guests - first choice when the photo booth should not stay in one spot. Which events is the photo booth robot suitable for?

LUNA suits any event where guests sit together in groups: balls, trade fairs, Christmas parties, summer parties, corporate parties, birthdays, private parties and weddings. She is at her best at seated events: she drives up to the table instead of making guests get up.

Renting an AI photo booth robot in Vienna – artificial intelligence that comes to your guests

The AI photo booth robot is LUNA with artificial intelligence on board. She does not drive on her own: just like the classic photo booth robot, one of our staff steers her through your event by remote control – to the table, onto the dance floor, right into the group. She takes the picture wherever something is happening and turns it into an AI effect right there on the spot. Only seconds pass between the shutter and the finished print.

On the touchscreen your guests decide for themselves what their photo should become: a professional headshot, a cartoon portrait, a hand-drawn caricature, a face swap into a prepared scene, or a look decades into the future. Groups work too – the AI recognises each face individually and places everyone in front of the same backdrop. Which effects are available on your night is something we agree in advance.

Technically it is the same machine as the photo booth robot from the Classic Line: a 5-hour standard package including on-site support, around 60 photo sessions per hour, 400 prints in 10 × 15 cm format (photo strips in 5 × 15 cm are available on the Classic version only), instant printing from the printer that rides along, and every shot also delivered digitally by QR code or email. The difference is in the software – and in what comes out of the printer.

We deliver LUNA to your venue at the agreed time, set her up in about 30 minutes and take her down in roughly 20. In Vienna delivery, setup and collection are included; outside Vienna there is a travel fee stated transparently in the quote – we work all across Austria. LUNA runs purely on battery, around 3 hours per charge, fits through any door from 80 cm wide and needs level ground without thresholds. She is never out among the guests unattended: our staff member steers her by remote control throughout and keeps an eye on the room. Distance sensors, an emergency stop and walking-pace movement add another layer of safety.

The AI version is booked above all where the photo itself is meant to be the attraction: at company parties and Christmas parties, at product launches and on trade fair stands, where an AI portrait stays in people's minds far longer than an ordinary group shot. If you prefer the classic approach, the photo booth robot is the one. For a compact AI column without wheels there is the AI Photobooth, and for full-body shots in a mirror the AI Magic Mirror.
