Are there digital copies of the photos?

Yes, your guests can get their pictures straight onto their smartphone via QR code or email. You'll also receive a link with all the photos afterwards.

Are there travel costs outside Vienna?

In Vienna, delivery, setup and takedown are included in the price. Outside Vienna there are travel costs – they depend on the distance and are stated transparently in the quote. We work throughout Austria.

Can the photo booth be used outdoors?

Yes, the Photobooth Classic can be used outdoors, provided it is weather-protected and a power outlet is available. You can also book an outdoor tent from FiestaPics. It shields the photo booth from sun, wind and light rain, making outdoor use safe.

Can the photo booth run supervised or unsupervised?

Both are possible – by default the photo booth runs unsupervised, with supervision available as a paid option. At supervised events, a promoter is on site. They support guests, handle paper changes and resolve technical issues directly. At unsupervised events, a responsible person is briefly trained during setup. We are reachable by phone throughout the event.

Can the prints be individually designed?

Yes. There are two design options: Option 1: Choose a design with adjustments Pick a design in postcard format or as a photo strip (1–4 photos). Small adjustments like logo, colours or short text are possible. Option 2: Your own design (common for corporate events) A Photoshop template is sent by email so you can create your own design – ideal for corporate branding.

Does it cost more if the booth runs longer?

No. We charge per event day, not per hour. Whether the booth runs for two hours or well into the night makes no difference to the quote – up to twelve hours on the event day are possible. If your event continues the following day, a second event day is added. The only thing booked by the hour is an attendant on site. On the units that always run attended – 360° Videobooth, 360° Ground Spinner, photo booth robot, AI Sketcher and Photo Mosaic Wall – the standard package includes a fixed number of attended hours, and you can book additional hours on top.

Does the photo box need Internet access?

Yes — an Internet connection is required to send via email or share QR codes. We bring our own mobile modem. However, if local reception is not sufficient, an existing WLAN would be a helpful alternative. Don't worry: The photo box works completely even without the Internet, so sharing is then simply made possible afterwards.

How does setup and takedown work? Do I need to prepare anything?

You don't need to worry about a thing. We deliver, set up and collect everything again – on time, discreetly and coordinated with your schedule. All that's useful is a power outlet nearby. We bring a 10-metre extension cable.

How many photos and prints are possible with the Photobooth Classic?

The number of instant prints is defined by the print package booked. Included by default: – 400 prints in postcard format (10 × 15 cm) or – 800 prints in photo strip format Within that allowance the fair use principle applies: all guests may print as many pictures as they like – no extra charges and no limit. Our promise of 'unlimited prints' therefore refers to one full paper roll, which in our experience comfortably lasts the whole evening. Should the paper run low towards the end, your guests can still take photos and save them to their phone via QR code. An additional paper roll can be booked as an add-on. At unsupervised events, the paper change is explained during setup. At supervised events, our promoter handles it.

How much space does the photo box need in our location?

The photo box requires about 2 x 2 meters of space — ideally in a quiet location with a power outlet nearby. We would be happy to advise you on the best location on site.

Is a deposit required?

No. You pay nothing in advance. We work on the principle of business before pleasure: the invoice comes only after the event, once everything has gone smoothly.

Is the photo booth easy for guests to use?

Yes – the photo booth is intuitive and self-explanatory. Even without prior knowledge or tech skills, every guest finds their way quickly.

Is the quality of the printouts really high?

Yes — we use professional photo printers that produce razor-sharp, studio-quality prints. Your guests will see and feel the difference.

What does it cost to rent a photo booth in Vienna?

The price depends on several factors – mainly: - the rental duration and venue - the equipment you choose (print package, background option, accessories, multi-layout) - whether on-site support is wanted - the travel distance – included in Vienna, travel fee outside That's why there's no standard price, just a quote tailored to your event. Send us the date, location and occasion – you'll get a fixed-price quote listing everything included.

What happens if my event is cancelled or postponed?

We handle that flexibly and charge no cancellation fees. The only exception are products for which individually made parts have already been produced – the Photo Mosaic Wall or the AI Sketcher, for instance. In that case only the cost of the printing materials is charged. Just get in touch as soon as you know. If a replacement date is already fixed, we are happy to hold it for you.

What happens if something doesn't work on site?

Our technology is reliable and tested in advance. Just in case, we're reachable by phone at any time. We can also connect directly to the photo booth to support you.

What is a video booth?

The video booth is a slim pillar where guests record short video clips – congratulations, statements, spontaneous messages. Unlike a photo booth, the result is not a still image but a film. And unlike the 360° Videobooth, nothing rotates: guests stand in front of it, speak into the camera and get their clip on their phone seconds later. It comes into its own wherever a message says more than a smile – at weddings as a video guest book, at trade fairs for statements, at company parties for messages to colleagues.

What makes the Magic Mirror X, Retro and iMirror different?

Technically these three mirrors are all at the same level – same experiences, same effects, same image quality. The difference is in build, size and look. All dimensions as height × width × depth: Magic Mirror X – 202 × 75 × 27 cm, clean modern look, the right pick when floor space is tight. Magic Mirror Retro – 200 × 92 × 52 cm with a gold frame, the most eye-catching of the three and suited to balls and weddings. Magic iMirror – 180 × 68 × 60 cm, the most compact, ideal when ceiling height is limited. All three are pure photo mirrors: they take photos, let you edit the image right on the mirror and print it out. AI transformations of your guests such as cartoon, face swap or oldify are not part of it. If those AI effects are what you are after, the AI Magic Mirror is the right device. It is a separate product and should not be confused with the three models here.

What power supply is required?

A standard 230V power outlet is sufficient.

What's the difference between a Magic Mirror and a photo booth?

Technically the two aren't far apart: a professional camera, studio flash, lab-quality instant prints – the Fotobox and the Magic Mirror share all of that. The differences lie elsewhere: Full-body shot – the mirror shows guests at full size, the photo booth more of a chest-up or half shot. Operated on the mirror glass itself – signing and adding props happens right on the mirror surface. Presence in the room – the mirror is a piece of décor and draws looks even when no one's using it. Space needed – both need around 2 × 2 metres, but the Magic Mirror X is especially slim at 27 cm deep. In short: the photo booth is the reliable classic, the Magic Mirror is a step up – visually more premium and geared more towards premium events.

When should I book the photo booth?

So early as possible – slots fill up quickly, especially during wedding season.

Renting a photo booth with instant printing in Vienna – how it works

Renting a photo booth in Vienna with us means you tell us when and where, and we take care of the rest. Our Classic Line is our tried-and-tested range of equipment—classic photo booths with DSLR cameras and instant printing, Magic Mirrors as floor-to-ceiling touch-screen mirrors, 360° video booths for short clips, and the photo booth robot that navigates the room on its own.

How much space you need depends on the device: the slim Videobooth gets by with about one square metre, a classic photo booth with a backdrop needs closer to two by two metres, and a 360° video booth needs extra clearance all around. A standard household socket is always enough, and setup takes roughly 30 to 60 minutes.

Which device fits your event? The Photobooth Classic is the all-rounder with instant printing and props. Magic Mirror Retro, Magic iMirror and Magic Mirror X are floor-to-ceiling mirrors your guests tap and sign on screen — the most eye-catching option in the room. The Videobooth is the compact choice for tight venues. The 360° Videobooth and the 360° Ground Spinner rotate the camera around your guests and deliver short slow-motion clips for their phones. And the photo booth robot drives through the room itself, meeting guests where they are.

Printing happens on the spot: depending on the device you get photo strips at 5 × 15 cm or postcard-size prints at 10 × 15 cm. We agree the layout with you in advance — with your logo, a wedding date or your company branding. At the same time every shot lands in an online gallery where your guests can download their pictures straight to their phones.

In Vienna, delivery, setup and dismantling are included; outside the city travel costs apply — we work all across Austria. On request, one of our team stays on site all evening to look after props, paper changes and your guests. We have been doing this at hundreds of events since 2019.
