100 Years of Leyrer + Graf: Photo Mosaic Wall and Six Photo Stations at Marx Halle

You don't celebrate a century of construction in a side room. For the 100th company anniversary of Leyrer + Graf, Vienna's Marx Halle became the stage for more than 2,000 guests on 9 October 2026 – and we set up an entire photo landscape right in the middle of it: a physical and digital Photo Mosaic Wall, an AI photo booth, the Magic Mirror X, two 360° Ground Spinners and several Classic photo booths.

The brief: 2,000 guests, one hall, one shared picture

At an anniversary of this size, a single photo booth is not enough. With several thousand guests you need stations that don't build queues – and a centrepiece where every photo of the night comes together. That is exactly how we planned the setup: several photo sources working at the same time, and a mosaic wall that turns all of those pictures into one single image.

Marx Halle is made for this. The former cattle hall with its tall steel structure has room for large installations, and the red carpet in front of our stations clearly set the area apart from the rest of the party floor.

The Photo Mosaic Wall: 1,200 photos form one anniversary motif

The heart of the evening was the Photo Mosaic Wall, measuring 204 × 153 cm. It was built from around 1,200 individual guest photos, each printed as a 51 × 51 mm sticker. Guests picked up their photo at the Mosaic Station and stuck it onto the matching spot in the grid themselves. Piece by piece, the anniversary motif with the logo and the 100-year lettering appeared.

At the same time, the mosaic ran digitally on a large screen right next to the wall. Everyone could watch live as each new photo joined the big picture – an effect that works especially well at a company anniversary: every colleague visibly becomes part of the whole.

The mosaic was fed by several sources at once. Besides our photo stations, guests could simply upload a photo from their own phone via QR code, so even people who didn't want to queue at a station still made it into the picture.

Classic photo booth and Magic Mirror X: a memory to take home

For classic instant prints we brought several Classic photo booths. They printed in 10 × 15 cm format instead of photo strips, with an anniversary layout whose bold orange start screen set the tone right away. Every photo also went straight into the Mosaic Wall.

Next to them stood the Magic Mirror X. With its 70-inch mirror surface it captures larger groups in full size – ideal for teams and departments who wanted a picture together. Under the red and purple hall lighting, the booths themselves became an eye-catcher.

AI photo booth: master builders through the ages

For a night celebrating 100 years of company history, we tailored the AI photo booth to its own theme: master builders through the ages. Guests could use AI to travel through different eras – from a nostalgic 1920s motif in sepia all the way to the present. We developed the motifs together with the client and had them approved in advance, so they fit the company's history and brand.

Two 360° Ground Spinners for slow-motion moments

Two 360° Ground Spinners brought movement to the evening. On the illuminated platform the camera arm circles the guests, and the result is a slow-motion video that goes straight to their phone via QR code at the sharing station. With two spinners running in parallel, waiting times stayed short even at peak times.

Setup and schedule at Marx Halle

We set up on the day of the event from the morning onwards, and the stations ran from 5 pm until midnight. Large halls rarely have reliable Wi-Fi, so we brought our own internet – essential for the AI station, the digital mosaic screen and the QR code uploads. Our team was on site all evening, guiding guests at the stations and helping them place their stickers on the Mosaic Wall.

What this event shows

At company anniversaries with several thousand guests, a well-planned combination of devices works better than a single big attraction. The photo stations spread the crowd, the Mosaic Wall brings every picture together into one shared result – and what remains is a piece of art that lives on in the company long after the event.
