Magic Mirror X at the Vienna Chamber of Commerce Future Evening 2024
On 21 November 2024, the Vienna Chamber of Commerce (Wirtschaftskammer Wien) hosted its Future Evening 2024 (“Zukunftsabend”) – an evening for Vienna’s business community under the motto “I shape my future”. Entrepreneurs and partners of the chamber came together to exchange ideas, make new connections and look ahead together. Right in the middle of it: our Magic Mirror X, looked after by one of our attendants.
An evening all about the future
From the moment guests arrived, it was clear whose evening this was: at the entrance of the brick building, an illuminated orange-and-white banner column of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce welcomed everyone. Inside, blue lighting gave the hall a calm, modern atmosphere – a perfect fit for an event focused on the future.
The central design element was an illuminated photo wall featuring the evening’s key visual: a futuristic portrait, the “Zukunftsabend 2024” lettering and the claim “I shape my future”. In front of it stood black-draped cocktail tables – the ideal setting for conversations, networking and, of course, souvenir photos.
Why the Magic Mirror X is a great fit for corporate events
At an evening like this, the photo experience should feel premium and blend seamlessly into the event design. That is exactly what the Magic Mirror X is built for: standing 202 cm tall with a 70-inch portrait mirror surface, it is a real eye-catcher – yet at only 27 cm deep it is slim enough to fit into a busy hall.
Guests see themselves full-length in the mirror, tap directly on the glass and are guided through the shoot by animations. A Canon camera with two built-in flashes keeps images evenly lit and sharp even in a dimmed room – a big advantage with coloured event lighting like the blue ambience at the Future Evening.
With an attendant: support you can feel
At the Future Evening, the Magic Mirror X didn’t work alone: one of our attendants looked after the photo booth all evening. That brings several benefits that matter especially at business events:
- Active engagement: the attendant invites guests who might otherwise walk past and briefly explains how the mirror works.
- Bringing groups together: networking creates spontaneous group photos – with a little help, everyone ends up in the frame.
- Smooth operation: paper changes, printing and technology run in the background without the organiser having to worry about them.
This left the chamber’s team free to focus on what the evening was really about: the guests and the conversations.
Instant prints and digital memories
Every photo came out of the printer seconds after it was taken – a tangible keepsake guests could take home or to the office. With the Magic Mirror X, pictures can also be sent straight to guests’ phones via QR code or email and shared from there. For organisers, that means the evening lives on after the event – on desks, in chats and on social media.
Branding that matches the event
At corporate and association events, a consistent look is essential. We design the print layout in the organiser’s style – with logo, colours and event title. Combined with a branded photo wall like the one at the Future Evening, every photo becomes a small piece of communication for the event.
Our conclusion
The Vienna Chamber of Commerce Future Evening 2024 showed how well a premium Mirror Photo Booth suits a business event: it catches the eye without getting in the way, lightens the mood and sparks conversations. With an attendant on site, the device turns into a genuine guest experience.
A big thank you to the Vienna Chamber of Commerce for their trust – we look forward to the next events for Vienna’s business community.
