360° Headspinner at the Indeed UniX Anniversary Gala at Globe Wien

One gala, one night, 90 slow-motion videos
On 25 October 2026, Indeed UniX celebrated its anniversary gala at Globe Wien in the Marx Halle – and we were right in the middle of it with the 360° Headspinner. From 6:30 pm until well past midnight, guests in evening wear stepped under the camera arm, got filmed all the way around and had their slow-motion video on their phone via QR code just seconds later.
By the end of the night there were 90 videos – each one branded in the gala's look.
The venue: Globe Wien in the Marx Halle
The Marx Halle in St. Marx is one of Vienna's most striking event venues: a historic steel-and-glass hall with plenty of room overhead. Globe Wien uses this setting for shows, concerts and large corporate events.
That ceiling height mattered to us – the 360° Headspinner needs around four metres of clearance and a floor area of roughly four by four metres. In many ballrooms and hotels that rules it out; at Globe Wien it was a perfect fit. Delivery went through the artists' entrance, and everything was set up before the doors opened.
Why the 360° Headspinner suited the gala
At a gala, many guests wear long dresses and high heels and hold a glass in their hand. A rotating platform with a step isn't ideal for that. With the 360° Headspinner, the motor and camera arm sit up in the frame, leaving the floor completely clear.
Guests simply stand at floor level under the dome – up to five people at once – while the camera sweeps overhead around them. Each take lasts only a few seconds, which keeps the queue short and the evening flowing.
Overlay in gala style: blue, gold and the UniX logo
Every video got its own portrait overlay matched to the gala's corporate design: a blue and gold background with the logo and the UniX lettering in white. Design and approval were completed a few days before the event, so nothing was left open on the night.
That way, every shared video carries the event's branding further – into stories, chats and LinkedIn.
How the night went
We started at 6:30 pm. After the first videos at the opening, things calmed down during the show programme – most of the takes were recorded after 11 pm, when guests turned their attention to the party. Groups of colleagues, couples, whole teams: the Headspinner became the meeting point of the late evening.
Because the mood was so good, we spontaneously extended by an hour. Our on-site host started every take, gave quick directions and made sure every video was a keeper.
Takeaways for event planners
- Check the ceiling height early. The Headspinner needs around four metres. For lower rooms, the 360° Ground Spinner is the better choice.
- Approve the overlay in time. About a week's lead time leaves room for fine-tuning.
- Pick the spot with the schedule in mind. The station gets the most use once the official programme is over – a place near the bar or dance floor pays off.
- Plan for overtime. Galas rarely end on time. An extra hour of on-site support can easily be added on the night.
