AI Robot LUNA and AI iMirror at the ELK Future Summit 2026 in Heidenreichstein

In short: At the ELK Future Summit 2026, we were on duty with two devices – our AI Photo Booth Robot LUNA and the Magic iMirror with AI features. The party took place on the evening of March 19, 2026, at the Ypsilon nightclub in Heidenreichstein, and every print carried the Summit layout with the claim "The Future is coming home".

The occasion: ELK Future Summit 2026

ELK is Austria's largest prefabricated-house manufacturer, on the market for over 60 years and rooted at its home base in Schrems in the Waldviertel region. Once a year, the company brings together everyone who belongs to it: according to ELK, over 1,000 employees and sales partners from Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic came to the two-day Future Summit 2026.

The guiding theme was "The Future is coming home". During the day, it was about strategy, innovation, sales and production – and in the evening about the part that really bonds an internal event together. For that, the Ypsilon nightclub in Heidenreichstein was booked, a few kilometers from company headquarters. And that's where we stood.

Two devices, two very different jobs

At an evening with this many guests, a single photo device quickly becomes the bottleneck: a line forms, the line scares off the next guests, and in the end half the people have no picture. That's why we set up two devices with different characters for ELK – at two different spots in the venue.

The robot roamed the dance floor and found its guests on its own. The iMirror stood in one of the side rooms, decorated wall-to-wall with illuminated vinyl records, and was the calmer station for everyone taking a break from the dance floor. Two places, two moods, two wait times of a few minutes each instead of one long one.

LUNA and Style Pop: guests become collectible figures

LUNA is our mobile AI Photo Booth Robot. She rolls through the room on her own, approaches guests and takes photos at eye level – which makes the decisive difference compared to a fixed photo booth: nobody has to decide to walk over. The device comes to the people, and whoever was mid-conversation a second ago is now standing in the group in front of the camera.

For ELK, LUNA wore a black ELK shirt – a small detail that runs through every phone video of the evening.

Content-wise, LUNA ran our AI mode Style Pop. Rather than a filter over the original picture, the photo becomes a standalone figure: guests come back as little collectible figures on a pedestal, with exaggerated proportions and loving details right down to the ELK cap. The result is why people line up a second and third time – you want to see what the AI makes of you.

The AI iMirror: ELK themed worlds instead of a standard background

The Magic iMirror is our slim portrait-format mirror with an illuminated frame. It needs little space, looks good even in the dark, and can be placed anywhere a classic photo booth would be too bulky.

The iMirror didn't run Style Pop but the realistic AI scenes of the AI Magic Mirror. Guests were placed in visual worlds that fit ELK: on the pitch of a packed stadium with ELK boards, on a tennis court, in front of an ELK building. No cut-out heads on a background image, but fully rendered scenes with coherent lighting.

That's exactly what makes the difference for a corporate event: the motifs weren't interchangeably decorative, they carried the company's themes further – on an evening after a day of talking about exactly those themes.

One layout for both devices

As different as the two stations were, the output was identical: every print came out in the same Summit layout – black frame, "ELK Future Summit 2026" and beneath it the claim "The Future is coming home".

That sounds like a small thing, but it's the point where a photo device goes from gimmick to communication tool. A guest who takes home two pictures from two devices holds the same event branding in hand twice. And everything that later lands in a chat or on a fridge carries it onward.

Why a nightclub is both a rewarding and a difficult venue

It's rewarding because the backdrop is already there: lighting rig, lasers, illuminated dance floor, decorated walls. We didn't have to set up anything to create atmosphere – it was there.

It's difficult for the same reason. A photo station has to work in an environment that is almost dark, where the light changes every second, and where nobody feels like filling out a form. That's why we bring our own light for the shot, work with short, unambiguous operating steps, and keep waiting time to a minimum. Someone who is tipsy, excited and loud doesn't operate a complicated menu – and shouldn't have to.

What an evening like this needs

If you're planning something similar, three points should be settled early. First, the space: both devices need level ground and a regular 230 V outlet nearby; LUNA additionally needs a drivable area without steps or cable ramps. Second, the internet – for the AI image processing we bring our own 5G, because the Wi-Fi in a packed venue rarely holds up. Third, the layout: a branded frame like ELK's should be agreed on and tested beforehand, not on the day of the event.

Why two devices instead of one?

Because with many guests, a single long line forms otherwise. Two stations in two places spread out the crowd, and guests get two different results instead of the same thing twice.

What's the difference between Style Pop and the AI scenes?

Style Pop turns guests into a standalone figure – for example a little collectible figure on a pedestal. The AI scenes instead place guests photorealistically in a new environment, such as a stadium.

Can the layout be branded for our event?

Yes. Frame, logo and claim are set up in your design in advance, as at the ELK Future Summit. Both devices then output the same layout.

Does this work in a dark room too?

Yes. We bring our own capture lighting, independent of the venue's lighting rig. What's needed is a 230 V outlet, level ground and a short briefing on where the station should stand.
