60 Years of Mondial: When Company History Becomes a Team Artwork
To mark its 60th anniversary, Mondial invited its own team to a staff party with a view: right on Vienna's Danube Canal, at Otto Will Meer & Mehr, with open water and the city skyline behind it.
At the centre of the celebration stood an XXL Photo Mosaic Wall by FiestaPics, styled in warm retro colours under the motto "Twist & Shout". Every colleague stepped up to our camera station, got a printed photo tile with its own coordinates, and stuck it onto its spot on the big canvas.
A photo mosaic wall works like a giant puzzle: each individual guest photo is a building block that only reveals the full picture from a distance. Photo by photo, the wall grew over the afternoon into the number "60" and the Mondial logo, built entirely from hundreds of small moments contributed by the team itself.
By early evening, as the string lights came on under the pavilion roof and the canal turned pink in the sunset, the wall was complete - an anniversary logo that wasn't printed but built together, and one Mondial got to take home after the party.
Our FiestaPics team was on site the whole afternoon: running the camera station, helping guests find their spot on the grid, and making sure every last photo tile found its place.
